Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Saudi capital of Vision 2030 dealmaking

Riyadh is the fast-rising center of Saudi business aviation, driven by Vision 2030, sovereign-wealth activity, and an intensifying calendar of finance and investment summits. The city draws ultra-long-range and heavy jets for the Future Investment Initiative, giga-project meetings, and a growing entertainment and sport program. Passengers include royals and Public Investment Fund principals, global CEOs courting Saudi capital, and consultants and bankers cycling through the kingdom. Demand is heaviest in the cool October-to-March season, peaking around the autumn FII gathering.

King Khalid International Airport (RUH) lies about 35 kilometres north of the center, with two long parallel runways up to roughly 4,200 metres, unrestricted for the largest ultra-long-range jets. A dedicated royal and business-aviation terminal with premium handling manages customs, immigration, and hangarage, and visa and permit lead times should be planned in advance. The flat desert plateau and modern facilities make operations reliable year-round, with King Fahd Dammam (DMM/OEDF) and Jeddah (JED/OEJN) as regional alternates. The transfer into central Riyadh and the financial district runs about 35 to 45 minutes by car.
